SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Frontier Airlines (NASDAQ: ULCC) on Wednesday announced new, nonstop air service from Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR) directly to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL).
The flights are scheduled to begin May 17, the Syracuse Regional Airport Authority (SRAA) said in its Wednesday announcement.
The flight, which lasts about two hours, is scheduled to operate three times weekly and is part of a larger announcement from the ultra-low-cost-carrier today, SRAA noted.

With this news, Frontier now operates nonstop flights to five destinations from SYR including Atlanta, Georgia; Denver, Colorado; Fort Myers and Orlando in Florida; and Raleigh–Durham, North Carolina.
