VOLNEY, N.Y. — The Oswego County Airport will use $843,000 in federal funding to fix two taxiways and replace the taxiway lighting.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the funding to the airport in Volney, U.S. Sens. Charles Schumer (D–N.Y.) and Kirsten Gillibrand (D–N.Y.) announced in a news release that Schumer’s office issued.
The FAA administers the funding, which is awarded through the airport-improvement program (AIP).
