SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Einstein Bros. Bagels location at Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR) is now in operation.

The Syracuse Regional Airport Authority (SRAA) and Gideon Toal Management Services (GTMS) welcomed airport visitors, travelers, and news reporters for the formal-opening event held Wednesday. Attendees enjoyed samples and heard speeches from SRAA and GTMS leadership, per the SRAA announcement.

The event concluded with a ceremonial ribbon cutting to mark the occasion.

The quick-casual bagel café conducted a soft opening last month and is located in the newly created terminal bump-out between gates 22 and 23 in the airport’s north (B) concourse.

“The grand opening of Einstein Bros. Bagels is another strong example of how strategic partnerships can elevate the overall airport experience,” Jason Mehl, SRAA chief commercial officer, said in the announcement. “We’re thankful to Gideon Toal Management Services and Einstein Bros. Bagels for bringing fresh, high-quality options to our travelers and continuing to enhance the offerings at SYR.”

The Denver, Colorado–based chain has locations across the U.S., including one on Binghamton University’s campus. The SYR location operates daily from 4:15 a.m. until the last flight of the day.

Einstein Bros. Bagels is part of Bagel Brands, a subsidiary of Panera Brands, which includes Bruegger’s Bagels, Manhattan Bagel, and Noah’s NY Bagels, per the Einstein Bros. Bagels LinkedIn page.
