SYRACUSE, N.Y. — DAV (Disabled American Veterans) and RecruitMilitary will co-host two Military Community Job Fairs this week in both Syracuse and Watertown.
The event at Syracuse University’s National Veterans Resource Center is set for Wednesday between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The one at The Peak at Fort Drum is set for Thursday, also between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
The events are free for veterans, their spouses, active-duty military personnel, and members of the National Guard and Reserve.

The job fairs target transitioning service members, veterans, Guard/Reserve, and military spouses with regional and national employers hiring for skilled roles, RecruitMilitary said in its media advisory.
More than 21 employers actively seeking the talents of America’s veterans will be on-site representing a range of industries, from construction to medical to administrative and logistics, with career opportunities from entry level to senior management. In addition to employment assistance, the veterans expected to attend can utilize career counseling and resume assistance, network with fellow veterans and military personnel, and get support with their Department of Veterans Affairs benefits and claims assistance — all at no cost.
