SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Onondaga County Health Department announced Saturday night that that an employee at Prime Steak House at 101 East Water St. in Syracuse has tested positive for the coronavirus.
Members of the public who visited the restaurant on Monday, Oct. 19 between 3:30 and 6:30 p.m. may have been exposed.
Those who visited the eatery then should monitor themselves for symptoms of COVID-19 until Nov. 2, which is 14 days from the date of exposure. If symptoms do develop, the Health Department urges you to stay home and call your doctor for further guidance. If you are elderly, have underlying medical conditions, or are immunocompromised, call your doctor early even if your illness is mild.
