On Thursday, CenterState CEO named Jeff Fuchsberg VP of innovation and entrepreneurship. He had been serving as director of Genius NY, a business-accelerator program at the Tech Garden.

The organization also named Kara Jones as new director of Genius NY. Jones had been serving as the Tech Garden director of communications. She had also previously served as content and marketing manager for CenterState CEO.
Both Jones and Fuchsberg were part of the Tech Garden leadership group announced in December.

New to the leadership group is Sarah Hood, who is serving as senior director of operations at the Tech Garden. In that role, Hood is responsible for overseeing operations of the Tech Garden and will lead its strategic and business development, per a CenterState news release. She most recently served as director of the Clean Tech Center at the Tech Garden.

Before joining CenterState CEO, Hood was the program manager for Saab Corporation.
The December announcement also included Caitlin Moriarty, who served as the Tech Garden director of operations. Elle Hanna — senior director of communications and media relations at CenterState CEO — tells CNYBJ that Moriarty accepted a position at Le Moyne College back in the spring.
The December leadership group also included Jeannine Rogers, who served as Tech Garden director of programs. Hanna tells CNYBJ that Rogers remains in that role and is also serving on the CenterState CEO senior staff.
