ALBANY — Capital District Physicians’ Health Plan, Inc. (CDPHP) is spreading its Medicare Choices HMO product to 10 new counties for 2013.
The not-for-profit health plan will make the HMO available to Medicare beneficiaries in Chenango, Delaware, Essex, Fulton, Hamilton, Herkimer, Madison, Orange, Otsego, and Tioga counties. Beneficiaries will be able to sign up for the plans when open enrollment starts on Oct. 15. Open enrollment for 2013 runs to Dec. 7.
CDPHP was founded in 1984 by physicians and is based in Albany. It offers health plans to members in 24 New York counties.
