ITHACA, N.Y. — New York State Police in Ithaca announced that on Saturday they arrested Allan J. Rouse, age 30 of King Ferry in Cayuga County, for fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony.
State Police say their investigation found that Rouse in April agreed to buy a tractor and back blade, but paid the seller with a bad check for more than $1,000. Rouse then allegedly took the tractor and sold it to another person. The original owner of the tractor contacted State Police after he was unable to make contact with Rouse.
Rouse was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the town of Dryden Court this Wednesday.
