ENDICOTT, N.Y. — Broome County has opened its En-Joie Golf Club for the 19th season of the county managing the golf course, which hosts the annual PGA Tour Champions Dick’s Sporting Goods Open.
En-Joie, located at 722 West Main St. in Endicott, officially opened for the season on March 30, Broome County Executive Jason Garnar, Legislator Greg Baldwin, Director of Golf Mike Deuel, and Golf Superintendent Sully Murphy announced the opening in a press release.
The county took over managing the golf course from the Village of Endicott in 2006 to ensure the course could remain open, as well as continue hosting the annual Champions Tour event that brings some of the world’s best pro golfers above the age 50 to town. The village maintains ownership of En-Joie, which first opened in 1927, according to its website. The 2023 season saw 30,217 rounds played, a record amount for the course.

En-Joie Golf Club was home to the PGA Tour’s B.C. Open, originally the Broome County Open, from 1971–2005.
