BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — New York State Police in Binghamton announced that they recently arrested a couple for purchasing a vehicle using counterfeit money.
On Nov. 23, State Police arrested Brittany A. Cochran, age 27 of Binghamton, for the felony of possession of a forged instrument in the first degree. An investigation revealed that when she bought a vehicle from a private seller, she paid for it using fake cash.
Then on Nov. 24, State Police arrested Hahseem D. McQueen, age 36 of Binghamton, for the felony of criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree.
