BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — The Binghamton Mets minor-league baseball club on Monday afternoon introduced John Hughes as its new owner.
The Double-A affiliate of the New York Mets welcomed Hughes at a press conference at NYSEG Stadium and announced it was staying in Binghamton.

The B-Mets will enter their 25th season in 2016. The team won the Eastern League championship in 2014.
