QPK Design Architecture Engineering Site & Planning has promoted Andrew Merriam to associate partner. He joined QPK Design in March 2024 and now has nearly 20 years of experience working in the greater Syracuse region. Merriam has made an impact through his integral contributions to projects including as project manager of the apartment transformation taking place at Tower 701 Apartments (the iconic former Crowne Plaza Syracuse high-rise), and involvement with QPK’s recent Mahan Hall addition at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Merriam is a registered architect with a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering technology from the SUNY College of Technology at Alfred State. QPK Design, headquartered in Syracuse, is a multi-disciplinary firm providing architecture, engineering, landscape architecture, and interior-design services.
