SYRACUSE, N.Y. — St. Joseph’s Health has announced the upcoming opening of St. Joseph’s Health Orthopedic and Spine Care, which expands access to orthopedic and spine services for patients across Central New York.
The new St. Joseph’s Physicians practice officially opens on Dec. 1 and is now accepting new patients and continuing care with current patients, per the announcement on the St. Joseph’s Health website. The practice is located at Northeast Medical Center, suite 115, 4000 Medical Center Drive in Fayetteville.
St. Joseph’s Health Orthopedic and Spine Care offers diagnostic and treatment options, including robotic-assisted joint replacement and minimally invasive spine procedures.

Four orthopedic surgeons with experience in treating musculoskeletal and spine conditions are joining the St. Joseph’s Physicians network.
They include Dr. Kevin Kopko, medical director of joint surgery, who specializes in hip and knee replacement, partial knee replacement, and robotic surgery; and Dr. Aaron Bianco, who specializes in neck and back.
They also include Dr. Bradley Raphael, medical director of sports medicine, who specializes in shoulder, knee, sports medicine, PRP (platelet-rich plasma), cartilage, joint preservation and orthobiologics.
The group also includes Dr. Justin Iorio, medical director of spine surgery, who specializes in cervical/thoracic/lumbar surgery, spinal tumors, degenerative conditions, minimally invasive procedures, and navigation.
