BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — The Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce Placemaking Office is hosting its first pop-up event in downtown Binghamton Saturday, Nov. 26 from 4-8 p.m.
In partnership with the city of Binghamton, the organizations will host a holiday tree lighting at the Washington Street Mall on Court Street. The city will close Court Street between Hawley and State Streets, with Washington Street blocked between Hawley and Court Streets to allow for the festivities.
The Discovery Center of the Southern Tier will host children’s activities from 4-5:30 p.m., the tree lighting takes place at 5:30 p.m., and various musicians will perform throughout the event.
