Doreen Borders, a 30-year veteran of the banking industry, has joined Canandaigua National Bank as a business banker officer in the Syracuse market. Borders brings an array of experience in banking, sales, and management to the role. Canandaigua National Bank will leverage her knowledge of the Syracuse–area market as the bank is planning four new branches in the market in 2026, with the first opening in the Washington Station building in downtown Syracuse in January. Offices are also planned in DeWitt, Cicero, and Liverpool, with more planned later.
