SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Onondaga County Legislature on Tuesday approved the 2026 county budget.
The spending plan includes an 11 percent cut in the property tax rate to $2.93 per $1,000, which is described as an “historic low,” per a post on the Onondaga County X page.
The budget also includes $1 million to support the convention and innovation district and $200,000 to continue supporting the local agritourism economy.
