UTICA, N.Y. — The Workforce Development Board, Herkimer, Madison, Oneida Counties, Inc., has launched a new website called Connect Mohawk Valley to link students to internships and part-time job opportunities at local businesses.
Local businesses can post opportunities on the site at no cost, and the site serves as a central repository for students attending area schools to search for those jobs or internships.
To sign up, businesses can visit www.connectmohawkvalley.com and fill out a simple form that is quickly approved. Employers can then begin posting opportunities and add or change listings at any time. When a student applies, the employer receives an email notification.
