CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — Canandaigua National Bank & Trust, which has plans to expand into the Syracuse area later this year, on Monday said it is rebranding to Canandaigua National Bank.
The bank has unveiled a new brand and logo “in a move that aligns with the company’s 138-year history of evolution,” per its announcement.
Canandaigua National Bank sees the rebranding as a “new, modern look and feel aimed at connecting with audiences more effectively across physical and digital interactions.”

The brand evolution was shared first with employees at an internal event on Wednesday, June 11, while the public rollout started Monday, June 16.
Digital properties and applications such as the website, mobile app, social-media channels, and digital-marketing platforms will be the first to reflect the change, while physical signage across the 25-plus branch locations and offices will be refreshed in the coming months.
Canandaigua National Bank offers financial services that include retail banking, wealth management, commercial financing, and community reinvestment.
The bank operates 25 branches and 3 financial-services offices in Ontario and Monroe counties as well as the CNB mobile banking service. Founded in 1887, the bank describes itself as the only local, independent, community-owned bank in the Greater Rochester area.
