ROME, N.Y. — Nascentia Health and the Nascentia Neighborhood Capital Campaign Strategy Committee announced the launch of the public phase of the Nascentia Neighborhood Capital Campaign and a $4 million gift for the project from The Griffin Charitable Foundation.
In recognition of the gift, Nascentia Health will name Nascentia Neighborhood’s future on-site medical building The Griffin Charitable Foundation Medical Complex, in tribute to Dorothy and Bill Griffin.
“We are incredibly grateful to The Griffin Charitable Foundation for choosing to invest in this project,” Nascentia Health President/CEO Kate Rolf said in a release announcing the news. “This gift will help our company continue delivering exceptional healthcare, creating strong communities, and executing a vision designed to meet the needs of aging adults. I am honored that the Nascentia Neighborhood Capital Campaign has already been propelled forward by a transformative donation.”

Phase one of the project renovated and reopened Beeches Manor as an event venue and restaurant open to the community for lunch and dinner.
