UTICA, N.Y. — SUNY Polytechnic Institute’s 2025 Day of Giving, held on March 27, was the most successful in the university’s history, the school announced.
The event raised a record-breaking $260,000 in 24 hours, and two new $25,000 endowed scholarships were established in memory of Anita Brown and Dan Ryan. Contributions came from alumni, faculty, staff, students, and community partners. The campaign was boosted by a $40,000 matching gift.
Funds raised will benefit key areas including Wildcat athletics, student scholarships, the Educational Opportunity Program, the SUNY Poly Emergency Fund, Poly Pantry, the new Interdisciplinary Business Center, and the SUNY Poly Annual Fund, the university said.
