UTICA, N.Y. — Mohawk Valley Community College (MVCC) will host a job fair on Feb. 15 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the MVCC Alumni College Center, at 1101 Sherman Drive in room 116.
About 25 local businesses will be in attendance to meet one-on-one with job seekers, take résumés, and answer questions about current job openings. Those opportunities are available in a range of industries including trades, manufacturing, information technology, human services, public safety, and more.
Representatives from the Workforce Development Board of Herkimer, Madison and Oneida Counties’ grant programs will also be on hand to speak with individuals interested in free training or in need of supportive services. Local agencies that provide services to individuals with disabilities will also be at the event to provide information on their services.
