ROME, N.Y. — Assured Information Security (AIS) announced it has been awarded an Engineering for Virtualized Enterprise and Remote Access Technology (EVEREST) $300 million Indefinitely Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.
The pact is focused on enhancing secure access and information transfer across multiple security domains and the cloud. AIS says it will provide research, development, enhancement, sustainment, and training of innovative technologies directly supporting U.S. military operations.
EVEREST will address the growing need for advanced information security and secure data access within military and intelligence communities, the company said. Successful execution of the initiative will ensure rapid deployment of military forces, providing real-time information to achieve strategic objectives and maintain battle-space situational awareness.

The contract will focus on developing and maintaining multi-level access (MLA) solutions, cloud infrastructure, and secure storage and transfer technologies. AIS’ Trusted Systems business unit will perform the work for the Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate in Rome with an expected completion date in January 2030.

This contract, growing from a previous $95 million award to $300 million, reflects the company’s success in delivering next-generation solutions to address evolving security challenges. As the mission expands, AIS anticipates potential growth in jobs to support the efforts.
