SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Downtown Farmers Market is set for its 52nd season, beginning Tuesday from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. in Clinton Square in downtown Syracuse.
Every Tuesday through Oct. 8, rain or shine, the Downtown Farmers Market will have vendors offering locally produced fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, plants, crafts, and other specialty items.
The only scheduling exceptions are June 25 when the market will set up at the One Lincoln Center parking lot — and Sept. 3 when the Downtown Farmers Market won’t be held.

This year’s Downtown Farmers Market features new vendors; Food Bank presentations starting in July; and “Double Up Food Bucks expanding consumers’ overall spending power at the market,” per the Downtown Committee’s announcement.
Tuesday’s opening day will also include live music during lunchtime with local Elvis impersonator Tom Gilbo performing.
Throughout the season, vendors will offer new products weekly, and live music will continue (weather permitting) each Tuesday from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. as part of the “Lunchtime Live! Music Series,” presented by CNY Arts, Onondaga County, and SUNY Oswego, the Downtown Committee said.
