CLINTON, N.Y. — The Clinton Village Green will welcome more than 45 vendors on Thursday, June 6 when the Clinton Farmers’ Market kicks off its 2024 season, the Clinton Chamber of Commerce announced.
The weekly event takes place on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Oct. 3. The market gives producers of fruits, vegetables, plants, baked goods, meat, dairy products, maple and honey products, food products, jewelry, photography, clothing, and more a place to peddle their wares.
The market accepts EBT SNAP benefits, and shoppers can use their benefits to purchase tokens at the chamber’s information tent. Those tokens can then be used to buyitems from vendors. As the market also operates a SNAP-based incentive program called FreshConnect that is designed to increase the purchasing power of SNAP customers, every shopper that redeems $2 in SNAP benefits receives an additional $2 FreshConnect coupon.
