BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — Coughlin & Gerhart, LLP recently announced that attorney Brady L. Begeal became a partner in the firm, effective Jan. 1.
A graduate of Albany Law School, Begeal joined Coughlin & Gerhart in 2010 as a summer associate and in August 2011 became an associate.
Begeal’s practice is concentrated in business and banking law, commercial law, and municipal and public sector law, the law firm said.

Coughlin & Gerhart, which was founded in the 1890s, says it has grown to be a multi-service law firm, with more than 50 lawyers and a professional support staff. The firm’s main office is located at 99 Corporate Drive in Binghamton. It also has other branch offices in Bainbridge, Ithaca, Owego, Hancock, Walton, as well as Montrose, Pennsylvania.
