SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Carrols Restaurant Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: TAST) announced it has completed the acquisition of four Burger King restaurants in the Detroit, Michigan area.
The transaction closed last Thursday, July 14, Carrols said in a news release.
This latest acquisition continues a buying spree for Carrols in the Motor City area. It follows the company’s late May announcement that it had acquired six Burger King locations in the Detroit market. And last December, the company bought 23 additional Burger King restaurants in that region.

Carrols currently operates 727 Burger King restaurants in 16 states, including 54 in Michigan, the company said.
