CONSTANTIA, N.Y. — Oswego County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a West Monroe woman, charging her with stealing more than $50,000 from the business for which she worked during the past eight months.
Riana Nicole Darrow, 21, of 44 Maplewood Dr., faces charges of second-degree grand larceny. Sheriff’s deputies said she wrote checks to herself while in the office of treasurer at a business in Constantia and took the cash. The crime, deputies said, occurred from May 2017 to January 2018, according to a police report posted on the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office website. The report didn’t disclose the name of the Constantia business.
Second-degree grand larceny can carry a punishment of up to 15 years in prison.

Darrow was arraigned in Town of Constantia Court Monday and sent to Oswego County jail in lieu of $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond. She is due in court on April 23.
