UTICA, N.Y. — The Northeast Cybersecurity and Forensics Center (NCFC) at Utica College will host a “lunch and learn” event for those in the financial and insurance sectors on Feb. 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The NCFC is working with Annese and Associates, Inc., a Clifton Park–based communications-systems provider, to organize the event, Utica College said in a news release issued on Monday.
The presentation will focus on current cybersecurity trends that financial institutions, credit unions, and insurance companies face on a daily basis in an increasingly digital and online marketplace, the college said.

The college says its NCFC is a computer-forensics lab that offers services for local, state, and federal law enforcement, as well as corporate and private clients, according to the news release.
