SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Syracuse University women’s basketball on Monday night secured a bid to the NCAA Tournament.
The Orange women earned the No. 8 seed in the Kansas City (Midwest) Region and will face ninth-seeded Oklahoma State on Saturday in Starkville, Mississippi.
Tip-off is slated for 3:30 p.m. on ESPN2.

Should the Orange advance, they will face the winner of the matchup between the region’s No. 1 seed Mississippi State and 16th seeded Nicholls on Monday.
This is the 7th NCAA Tournament appearance for Syracuse under head coach Quentin Hillsman. In his tenure, the Orange women are 8-6 in the big dance, including an appearance in the 2016 tournament championship game, an 82-51 loss to the University of Connecticut.
