ONEIDA, N.Y. — The Oneida Community Mansion House (OCMH) has received a $18,940 Preserve New York grant to fund a cultural landscape report.
OCMH will work with Martha Lyon Landscape Architecture, LLC of Massachusetts to create a report that will enable OCMH to further its historic-preservation efforts, expand and diversify its interpretation, and make key improvements to accessibility.
“We are so grateful to the Preservation League of New York State for this funding,” OCMH Executive Director Christine Hall O’Neil said in a press release. “As part of our long-term commitment to preserving this national historic landmark, we are excited to understand a cultural landscape report to better understand our preservation needs, expand our interpretation, and increase accessibility to the mansion house for years to come.”
