DeWITT, N.Y. — Matthews Salon Spa this week announced its new location at the DeWitt Town Center, at 3179 Erie Boulevard.
The salon previously operated at 5804 Bridge St. in DeWitt, according to a Google search.
Matthews Salon Spa joins anchor tenants Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park and Time Warner Cable in the newly renovated retail and office space formerly known as Hechinger’s Plaza, according to a company news release.

“For 26 years we’ve been an integral part of Syracuse’s beauty and wellness collective. Our new DeWitt Town Center location allows us to bring our brand of ecologically responsible products, salon, and spa services to a vibrant new corner of the community,” Matthew Dydo, the spa’s owner and lead stylist, said in the release.
Inspired by his grandfather who owned and operated a barber shop in New England, Dydo opened his first salon on Fayette Street in Syracuse in 1988.
Besides its location in the DeWitt Town Center, Matthews Salon Spa also operates a second salon at 5 Lincklaen St. in the village of Cazenovia, according to the release.
