ITHACA — The president of Tompkins County Area Development (TCAD) has been elected chairman of the New York State Economic Development Council.
Michael Stamm will serve in the position until next year. The council represents economic development professionals. Its 900 members include the leaders of industrial development agencies, banks, chambers of commerce, private corporations, and more.
TCAD is a nonprofit local development corporation in Tompkins County. Stamm earned a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and a master’s degree from the University at Buffalo.
