SYRACUSE — Syracuse University’s Institute for Veterans and Military Families will help put on an event in San Diego to help military veterans build online and brick-and-mortar businesses.
The event, called Google for Entrepreneurs Day for Veterans, Service Members, and Military Families, is scheduled for Aug. 9 at the San Diego Hall of Champions at 2131 Pan American Plaza. Its other hosts are Google and the nonprofit organization Startup Weekend.
Sessions will cover engaging new audiences and effective online advertising, according to a Syracuse University news release. Veterans, service members, and military families who have a business or business idea can register to attend for free at g4eveterans.eventbrite.com.
