SYRACUSE — Officials from six New York state agencies are scheduled to visit Syracuse tonight to teach small-business owners about state resources designed to spark business growth.
The officials are slated to meet with over 80 of the region’s employers in a workshop at Syracuse’s South Side Innovation Center at 2610 S. Salina St. at 6:30 p.m. They will answer questions and discuss state programs and resources that aim to help businesses grow.
State agencies set to attend are the Department of State, Department of Labor, Empire State Development, Liquor Authority, Workers’ Compensation Board, and Department of Taxation and Finance.

The workshop is part of a statewide Small Business Outreach Initiative Gov. Andrew Cuomo launched in March. That initiative has agency representatives visiting locations around the state this spring and summer.
