NEW HARTFORD — The U.S. Army awarded PAR Government Systems Corp. its largest contract ever — a $48 million deal to provide full-motion video, geospatial information systems, and intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance software and hardware.
The Army Contracting Command/Aberdeen Proving Ground Natick Contracting Division in support of U.S. warfighters and coalition partners awarded the contract, which has a five-year period of performance.
The contract supports rapid-response capability for the technologies required in forward theaters of operation for both U.S. military and coalition warfighters. PAR Government is working with the Natick Contracting Division and U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Battle Management Directorate, Force Protection Division to streamline the transition of near-ready, ready, and working technologies to the warfighter, according to PAR.
