OSWEGO — The State University of New York (SUNY) Oswego and the New York Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) are teaming on energy audits for local businesses.
The free audits are available through the Green Jobs/Green NY Act, according to SUNY Oswego. NYSERDA can conduct the audits for small businesses and nonprofits so they can make decisions on steps to increase energy efficiency.
The college’s Office of Business and Community Relations can help guide businesses through the application process for the audits, the school said. The audit reports include recommendations, costs, and expected savings.
