SYRACUSE — Syracuse Behavioral Healthcare (SBH) has completed a planned relocation of its detoxification and evaluation center in Syracuse.
The center, which had been located at 714 Hickory St., is now housed at 847 James St. in a facility SBH calls The Willows. The move boosts the evaluation center from 18 beds to 25.
Medical and counseling professionals staff the center. It provides support to individuals withdrawing from alcohol and other drugs. Stays there generally range from three days to 14 days.
