Several New York products will be served at the presidential inauguration and luncheon later this month in Washington, D.C.
They include yogurt from Chobani, headquartered in Chenango County, and a Riesling wine produced by Finger Lakes wineries Anthony Road Winery, Fox Run Vineyards, and Red Newt Cellars. Other New York products to be served include apples, cheese, and honey.
A merlot from Bedell Cellars on Long Island will also be served, according to Sen. Charles Schumer’s office. Schumer is chairing the inaugural ceremonies this year. President Barack Obama will be sworn in for his second term Jan. 21.
