SYRACUSE — A free health-care clinic on Syracuse’s South Side held its grand opening Feb. 16.
The grand opening officially launched the Rahma Health Clinic at 3100 S. Salina St. The Muslim American Care and Compassion Alliance of Syracuse operates the clinic, which is funded by private donations, according to a news release.
It offers primary-care and specialty services — medication monitoring, screening, counseling, and treating illnesses and injuries. The clinic aims to provide health care for individuals who are uninsured or underserved, no matter their background, race, religion, or ability to pay.
