BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — The president of a Binghamton nonprofit was arrested for allegedly stealing more than $50,000 from the charitable organization, according to the New York State Police at the Binghamton Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
Stacie M. Congdon, 48, of Windsor was charged with second-degree grand larceny, a felony. According to the State Police, an investigation revealed that while working at Punch Out Parkinson’s Inc. as treasurer and president, she stole more than $50,000 from the nonprofit’s checking and savings accounts. The unauthorized withdrawals took place from April 2022 through May 2023.
Congdon was arrested and processed, and then transported to the Broome County Central Arraignment and Processing, the State Police said.
