SKANEATELES FALLS — Welch Allyn, a medical-device maker based in Skaneateles Falls, today announced the availability of two “connectivity-ready” electrocardiograph (ECG) devices in the U.S.
Described as “user-friendly,” Welch Allyn designed the CP 150 to help improve practice workflow, the company said.
Welch Allyn also describes the second ECG device, the CP 50, as a product that offers the “speed and power” of a regular ECG in a “compact, portable size.”

Connected and portable devices are “important” for health-care providers in a variety of clinical settings, Peter Glocker, senior manager, cardiopulmonary products at Welch Allyn, said in a news release.
“The CP 50 and CP 150 have a number of connectivity options to help manage and share patient information. Additionally, each easy-to-use device will allow clinicians to do more with less because they can administer tests, interface with other systems and help reduce data documentation time,” Glocker said.
