UTICA, N.Y. — The Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties is seeking applications from human-services organizations such as food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters for the Helpful Harvest grant round sponsored by the Helpful Harvest Fund at the foundation.
Nonprofits may apply now through 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 26 at https://foundationhoc.formstack.com/forms/helpfulharvest.
“Each year, we support food pantries during the November-December holiday season, and we are getting an early start to ensure needs are met in a timely manner as our partners begin to organize to meet food shortages,” Oliva Paul, director of community engagement, said in a news release. “We established the Helpful Harvest Fund to help nonprofits meet their needs stemming from economic difficulty and food insecurity in the two counties.”
