The Magic Zone auto body shop to formally open in Rome on Saturday

ROME, N.Y. –– The Magic Zone, an automobile paint and body shop in Rome, will formally open its doors on Saturday afternoon.

The new business will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Rome Area Chamber of Commerce at noon at 7113 E. Dominick St.

Business co-owners Brian and Lorraine Mahler will receive the “First Dollar of Profit” award from the chamber, according to a news release. Rome Area Chamber Membership Committee co-chairs Jennifer Grimaldi and Holly Hoag will present the award.

The ribbon-cutting celebration will continue until 5 p.m. and will include hot dogs on the menu, the release stated.
