Syracuse last week announced that it would face its neighbor, Division II Le Moyne College in its opening exhibition basketball game on Monday, Nov. 2 at the Carrier Dome.
The two exhibition games are tune-ups for the regular season, which starts in mid-November, and don’t count for the season record.
Last season, Syracuse played Carleton University from Canada and Adrian College from Michigan in its pair of exhibition games, winning both contests.
The Orange went on to post an 18-13 record for the regular season. They did not compete in post-season play due to self-imposed sanctions for NCAA violations.
Jim Boeheim enters his 40th season as Syracuse head coach this year.
