CORTLANDVILLE, N.Y. — The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office announced it has arrested 19-year-old Thomas M. Shutts and two juveniles in connection with burglaries committed in January.
Shutts, an unnamed 17-year old, and an unnamed 16-year-old were charged with burglary, attempted burglary, and criminal mischief, all felonies. They were also charged with the misdemeanors of conspiracy and endangering the welfare of a child.
On Jan. 9, officers responded to a call at Doug’s Powersports Unlimited on NY Route 281 and the Coffee Mania stand on Groton Avenue in the town of Cortlandville, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.
