SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — New York State Police in Schenectady County last Thursday arrested Monaisha D. Leigh, age 30 of Schenectady.
Leigh is accused of stealing more than $3,700 in unemployment benefits from the New York State Department of Labor in the City of Schenectady. She was charged with 3rd degree grand larceny, 1st degree offer to file a false instrument, and 1st degree falsifying business records, according to a State Police news release.
Leigh is scheduled to appear in Schenectady City Court on June 14.
