CHITTENANGO, N.Y. — The New York State Police announced that they have arrested a construction company owner for accepting more than $59,000 in payments for construction jobs for which he never completed any of the work.
State Police arrested Daniel J. Mace, age 28, from Kirkville, for two counts of 3rd degree grand larceny, a felony, according to a July 12 news release. He is owner of DJM Construction.
Mace was arraigned in the village of Chittenango and was released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in Town of Sullivan Court on Aug. 20 at 1 p.m.
