SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Syracuse basketball (11-7, 4-3 ACC) seeks a fourth straight win when the Orange visit the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (11-6, 2-4 ACC) on Wednesday night.
The game is set to tip off at 7 p.m. at Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center and will be shown nationally on ESPN2. You can also stream it through the ESPN app. Mike Couzens and Jon Crispin will be the announcers.
Syracuse (No. 70 in the NCAA’s NET Rankings) enters the Notre Dame contest on a three-game winning streak. The most-recent victory was a 71-69 Orange triumph at Virginia Tech last Saturday afternoon. Buddy Boeheim led the way with 26 points, while Elijah Hughes added 17 points and 7 rebounds, and Marek Dolezaj contributed 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Wednesday’s game is the 52nd all-time meeting between Syracuse and Notre Dame, with the Orange holding a 29-22 lead in the series. The Irish won the last meeting on Jan. 4, rallying to top Syracuse 88-87 at the Dome. Mooney poured in 28 points and 14 rebounds and scored the winning basket with 41 seconds left. The Orange won the last time the teams faced off in South Bend — winning 72-62 on Jan. 5, 2019.
