SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Citing local coronavirus restrictions and closures, Destiny USA has decided to reduce its hours of operations, effective Wednesday.
“Until further notice,” its normal business hours of operation will be Monday through Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 a.m.to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
The information was part of a note from Destiny USA management to managers and associates at the complex.

“Given the currently evolving circumstances surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19), combined with the restrictions and closures of restaurants, movie theatres, gyms and more, we have decided to reduce our hours of operation effective March 18, 2020. The reduction in hours is also consistent with the needs of businesses across the Pyramid [Management Group] portfolio that are continuing to stay open,” the message said.
Pyramid is also reducing hours at its other malls including Sangertown Square in New Hartford; Salmon Run Mall in Watertown; Crossgates in Albany; and Walden Galleria in suburban Buffalo.
In addition, mall walking will be prohibited outside of operating hours, Destiny USA said.
Destiny USA said it will continue to monitor the situation and “react accordingly should the situation progress.”
