SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Upstate University Hospital has sent another group of nurses to Stony Brook University Hospital on Long Island to help the facility in its care of COVID-19 patients.
A group of 13 intensive-care unit (ICU) nurses departed the hospital Tuesday morning “for what is expected to be a two-week stay,” Upstate Medical University announced.
Stony Brook University Hospital has been a “key facility” in the treatment of COVID patients on Long Island, Upstate Medical said.
